Hi! I’m Alanna Kate Derrick, and I am a certified yoga teacher, running coach, and personal trainer.

Throughout my life, I have always loved sports and physical fitness, especially sharing them with others. Even before I completed my certifications, family members and friends trusted me for solid, informed fitness advice and guidance.

After the birth of my second daughter in February 2020, shortly before the coronavirus pandemic hit the United States, I committed myself to turning my passion for fitness into a career. Despite the many challenges that year brought for my family and so many others across the country and around the world, I persevered to solidify my expertise with formal certifications.

Now, I hope to expand my reach beyond friends and family to anyone looking for help in achieving their fitness and wellness goals. The journey to health and wellness starts with you, so take the next step and start training with me!

My Philosophy

I believe that fitness is for everyone and every body. No matter your height, weight, body structure, skin color, gender, sexual orientation, or any other way you identify yourself, you deserve to live a healthy, happy life. My training is not about achieving a particular number on a scale or fitting into a certain size; rather, I prefer to focus on strength, endurance, mobility, and other areas of fitness that are so much more relevant and meaningful.

I love working with beginners and those that are coming back to fitness after a long time away. This gives us the chance to work together to create a strong, stable foundation that we can build on over the course of our partnership. Even if you have been exercising regularly for years, there are always areas for improvement so you can take your abilities to the next level, and I would be happy to work with you too!
